My friend and I just played this game the other night for about 5 hours. Some of the events can be pretty challenging, especially if you're not great at jamming at the stick. Most, if not all of the track and field events involved that. Diving and Cycling was kind of challenging at 1st getting used to what to do, especially mastering the tougher dives. I wished there were a few more events like Judo, and skeet, but all in all we got what we expected out of the experience. Also was a great price as well, bought a used one for about $6. Couldn't go wrong with it, and ended up with a red palm after we were finished! Most people probably aren't fans at having to beat the crap out of their analog sticks, but it is what it is when it comes to these kind of games and you have to expect that.

This summer athletic game is a very good if you like outdoors sports. If you don't like outdoors sports I'm sure that this game has an event that you will enjoy.

First, let me say that I love athletic-type games. I thought the Wii would bring the sports even more to life. Unfortunately, I found it difficult to get the hang of it. I tried to focus on one sport, i.e. diving and read the directions, followed the on screen directions, and then attempted it. After 30 minutes, I was frustrated and ready to give up.
Thinking it was maybe just that one event, I tried one of the running events. I got the same result. Perhaps I was not following both directions correctly, but I found myself getting more and more frustrated with this game.
I want to note that I am an avid runner and I keep in shape. Others have noted in their reviews that this gave them a great workout. I agree that it will give you a workout, but only attempting to learn how to do the event.

This game is OK. I like Olympic sports so that's why I bought this game. Some of the controls are difficult but that's the challenge of the game.

This is a good game you will work your arms in some of the events. Most of the events are really fun and a good workout. One player and two player modes are really good. Learning how to do some events can be tough.Creating a person that looks like you is tough. Some of the motions don't match the events but most of this game is really good.
